Residency: September – October 2006
Sungjin Choi experimented with resins at Sculpture Space and created installations in the studio and on the grounds. His delicate suspended interior installation presented a cryptic sign language spelled out with miniature baby-size hands. He graduated from Seoul National University with a BFA and MFA in Sculpture and received an MFA in Combined Media from Hunter College, New York City. He has exhibited in shows at Rosenberg Gallery and Daniel Reich Gallery in New York City, where he lives and works.
