OUR COMMUNITY VALUES

Welcome to the Sculpture Space Inc community. Sculpture Space is committed to fostering a professional and supportive environment where artists and all individuals engaged with the organization are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness. Our community includes applicants, residents, panelists, contractors, collaborators, administrators, volunteers, and staff.

As a residency program built around shared creative and living spaces, we recognize the importance of maintaining relationships grounded in professionalism, clear communication, mutual respect, and personal accountability. We do not tolerate harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or conduct that undermines the well-being, safety, or participation of others within the community.

When concerns regarding conduct arise, Sculpture Space may gather and assess relevant information and determine appropriate administrative responses when necessary. Depending on the circumstances, such actions may include facilitated conflict resolution, changes in participation status, disqualification of an application, termination of a contract or residency, or other appropriate organizational actions.

The strength of Sculpture Space has always come from the artists, ideas, and experiences that shape this community. We aim to provide an environment that supports artistic experimentation, thoughtful exchange, and the ability for artists from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives to fully engage in the residency experience.
