Aya Imamura

Aya Imamura is a visual artist, living and working in Kyoto and Berlin. Since receiving her M.A. Fine Art from Kyoto Seika University (Japan), she has been working in printmaking, photograph and installation. Her work has been exhibited across Europe and in Japan. Recent exhibitions include the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art, Kyoto (Japan), The Contemporary Art Gallery in Opole (Poland), Künstlerhaus Wien (Austria) and Museum of Fine Arts Liège (Belgique). In 2013, she was resident at Mecklenburgisches Künstlerhaus Schloss Plüschow (Germany).
