Utica, NY — December 2025 — As Sculpture Space approaches its 50th anniversary in 2027, the organization is closing the final quarter of 2025 with a renewed sense of stability, optimism, and deep community gratitude. Three recent grants from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) reflect a growing investment in Sculpture Space’s mission and its capacity to serve artists across New York State and beyond.

NYSCA CAPITAL GRANT 2024

Sculpture Space Inc. Awarded $50,000 by the New York State Council on the Arts for Handicap Accessibility Residency Improvement. Utica, New York—Sculpture Space Inc. is thrilled to announce the receipt of a $50,000 grant from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to bolster the organization’s Handicap Accessibility Residency Improvement. This grant, awarded as part of NYSCA’s capital project funding, reflects a commitment to fostering inclusivity and accessibility within the arts community. The Handicap Accessibility Residency Improvement project encompasses several key initiatives to enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Among the planned enhancements are measures to improve street access and parking and climate control measures within the facility
