About the Artist
Woodeson lives in Glasgow, Scotland where he received his BA and MFA from Glasgow School of Art. He has attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2003). He has had shows at Mercer Union in Toronto, The New Contemporaries 2003 in London, England, GARDENfresh at The Stray Show in Chicago and Overgaden Institute for Contemporary Art in Copenhagen.

Artist Statement
The activating qualities of growth, energy, heat, magnetism and smell. These things are central to my practice, for example: scavenging for power in a pseudo scientific manner, transforming food into electricity, energy into head and coffee into mould. An intuitive experimental investigation with wide parameters and no specific outcome in mind.
