About the Artist
Marc-Anthony Polizzi was born May of 1983 in Utica, NY. In 2002 He attended PRATT as Munson William Proctor Institute of Art concentrating in sculptural work. Two years later he transferred to the NY State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. While at Alfred Marc-Anthony studied Large scale Glass casting under the instruction of Steven Dee Edwards. Upon graduation in 2005 he took a position as a cold worker for his once professor. One year later through a series of unfortunate events Marc-Anthony found himself working as an online brazier. Determining that the real world was no place to live he applied to Tulane University to study under the glass sculptor Gene Koss. Three weeks after entering graduate school Marc-Anthony was married to his long time sweetheart Cindy Gurecki. Now three years later he is writing his biography for his website.
